Question Loud "Rattle" sound at idle only?? Help!

I picked up the V not even a couple days ago. Was just fine when I got it. Test drove it, let it warm up, and then got on it, let it idle and walked thru the car, etc.
And just as soon as I got it home, it started to make a very light rattle noise. Almost sounded like an exhaust pipe was hitting a heatshield, or something small. I parked her for the night.
I started it the next morning, and noticed the sound got louder and louder. It's so loud, that I can hear the "rattle" sound over my exhaust and motor sound. It's loud
I took it to my friend at NTB, and got it on the lift. It feels like it was coming from the tranny case, over than the oil pan side. He did mention that you can feel it on the clutch and shifter. He took it for a drive, and same. Only did it at idle, and drove just fine. Gears went in smooth like I remember.

I'm hoping someone on here may be able to help me. He told me it has to be with the clutch assembly. Something sounds loose. Maybe a loose flywheel bolt? The clutch engages just fine with no pressure back.

It's an LQ4 bottom bored .30 over, LS3 top.
Stock T56 transmission with ls7 clutch with ls7 slave and single mass flywheel.

Hope it helps fellas. Thanks!

If it was just "sound", I'd say check the cats, but with vibration too...

Not exhaust. We took the exhaust and drive shaft off today. We are gonna find out by the end of this week hopefully.

clutch car you say?

what does it do when you push the clutch pedal in and out?

a throw out bearing makes noise with the clutch engaged (foot off the pedal), and the sounds goes away or is quieter when disengaged (foot on pedal pushed to the floor). sounds like a "rattle" IMO

The noise is at idle only. Will go away if you increase the rpm. In gear or in neutral.

I just bought the car and the previous owner states 1200 miles. We know how that goes so miles are unknown in my opinion. The owner did say he put in the motor and transmission back in 1200 miles ago. The car ran flawless prior to getting home. we have only take the exhaust and drive shaft off.

I was thinking possibly the throw-out bearing on the slave cylinder as well.

So everything came apart and whoever worked on it last forgot to tighten the flywheel bolts. Yes all 6. They were all loose and weren't even finger tighten.
It did very little damage. Just some markings on the engine block.
Flywheel, transmission, and engine block are all ok. I'm going to replace all 6 bolts with new ones and slap everything back in.
