have just decided to install an LS into my '65 chevelle in the past 2 weeks.am a new member here.
so i started advertising most of my BBC stuff, trying to just trade money to get into an LS.sell big block stuff, buy LS stuff.well, then i found this,
http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/3451326324.html
today i bought it,
stock LQ4 short block(suppose to be 19k miles)
stock LS 3 intake with rails and injectors
NIB-balanced 4.100 stroke kit(scat crank and rods,with manley pistons +.005)
NIB-scoggin dickey cnc'd LS3 heads with manley valves
NIB-comp 238/251 .615/.632 115 sep with comp dual springs,retainers,and pushrods
NIB-LS 3 rockers with comp trunion upgrade
NIB-mahle rings,clevite bearings,and MLS head gaskets
NIB-ARP head bolts
used F-body oil pan
my Christmas is taken care of !
some stuff may/will not be used ,as i am carburating. not sure about the cam.don't know how pushrods were determined prior to the build, probably wasted money there, maybe not.they are 7.425".will have the balance checked, same money as balancing.of course have to have the block machined.
got the receipt for the cam and valve train parts,$1040 from Thunder Racing.
heads are $775 ea scoggin dickey
stroke kit right at $2000 scoggin dickey
wasn't really ready to jump this deep in yet,but felt like i couldn't pass it up.
