Default LS2 exhaust valve

So upon taking my springs off I noticed a grove in the exhaust valve above where the valve stem lock grove is. It is right above where the valve stem locks sit when installed. On all exhaust valves on at least one side.

Is this normal or do I need new valves?

normal.

i had a set do that within 250 miles. I put aftermarket valves in them. I have been told it is not a issue to run them
