Default Aftermarket LSX block question

So I bought a used LSX block from a member on here and I was just inspecting it over and I notice the the top of 6th bolt hole is not maching for threads.

Is this common and they need to be machined ? Why wouldn't this be machined I want to use all 6bolt holes so this doesn't make sense to me.

I am confused!!

Ok, so it was explained to me that they come un-threaded and then you tighten it together with a nut on the top and bottom.

It all makes sense now.

The stud threads into the head, not the block. Your next problem is making sure you have a torque wrench that will fit in there...

Getting in there is doable with these. You may have to grind a little on these, or grind the block. I have done the block in the mill for additional clearance. The aluminunm ones need it to.

Snap On FRDH121 for 3/8" (torque adapter)
Snap On FRDH141 for 7/16" (torque adapter)

These are for 12 pt nuts.
