l92 stroker
I need help on a build plan I have a stock l92 engine I want to have a stroker kit put in it since the mileage is unknown and would prefer the motor to be fresh. So I need recomendation on what should be done with the heads planning on purchasing a kit from texas speed for the 418 kit. But I need recommendations on the other aspects of this build. Will be a spirited street vehicle that will see the track often. Probably see 1500 miles anually so it wont be on the street that much has to run on 92 octance. It currently has a 4.11 rear gear running a 315/60R15 tire so 30" tall. I have a th350 but I am willing to switch to something newer. This is a 1972 2wd blazer.
The only thing id do with the heads is swap out the intake valves for the hollow stem ls3. Then a good clean up job on the ports with a valve job and some milling.
Machine shop needs to put it all together for you and possibly hone the cylinders.
