Default Which engine builder to use?

I am lookin into buying a aseembled short block, possibly the LSx 427. Which company in everyones opinion should i go with? I have been looking at the engine packages Texas Speed has to offer.

There are quite a few reputable places that you can buy shortblocks or long blocks. I would pick the closest place that is reputable and roll with it. It's a lot easier dealing with parts, payment and issues that is within a drive than through shipping and over e-mail/phone.

100% agreed with Smoknss^ Try to find the nearest reputable shop to you and buy a block from them, that way you dont have to have the hassle of buying parts from somewhere not near you. If there isnt a good shop near you then consider a LSX block from one of the sponsors on here

Search function will help you find a good amount of threads about this. Thats how I researched for my builder.

And so will asking questions to people who have been there and done that, i think thats prob the reason this forum exsists. Thanks for all the input.
