Default LS2 ARP Head Bolt Torque Spec Different than Stock?

Hey everyone I bought a set of arp head bolts and am wondering if they are a different torque spec than the stock bolts? I know its 22ft/lb 90 then 50 I believe for the stock bolts, but is arp different... In the past with straight 6 engines the arp head studs I used required a higher torque spec. If anyone can help me that would be super helpful and ide really appreciate it.

Thanks.

I thought the arp's are 75 ftlb and use the grease on the threads and both sides of the supplied washers

Yeah, just read the directions for the ARP bolts.

If you lost them, then you can go on ARP's website, enter the part number, and the instructions will come up.

Mine never came with instructions for some reason. Ill look into it. Have you or anyone you know used arp head bolts that remembers the torque spec? I remember when I did a 4cyl turbo hg the spec was for 75 and I did 80ft/lb because people are saying it will hold the head down better, then again those were head *studs*. Anyone else slightly over torque theirs on their ls?

The stock head bolts are TTY. So you don't even torque them down to spec. You torque them, then torque them to an angle. They suck.

The ARPs are three pass in the stock procedure. First pass is 30-35lbs, second is 50-55lbs, and the final pass is 70lbs.

Did you buy them second hand or something? They always come with the instructions, ARP lube, stickers, a disclaimer note, and packing material. Like I said before, use ARP's website to get the torque specs and make sure you use the correct lubricant. It should be something like 70-75ft-lbs.

Oh, and don't put the washers on wrong either...
