lq4 6.0 cam suggestions hi guys, looking into upgrading the factory can in a lq4 6.0 2005 truck motor also have the 4l80e trans...looking to put it into either late 2nd gen fbody or 83-87 g body car....looking for an honest 400-415 hp around 350hp to the rear.....any suggestions?.....Dallas
have a 236/242 .585 lift comp cam, makes 400/400 to the tires with an ls6 intake/799s/stock tb/stock maf and drives like a baby, as well as being super low maintenance with pac beehives.
I had a ls6 cam in my lq4 before switching to the ms4 and prc 2.5 heads
I dynoed the ls6 before the swap and put down 378 and 386 .great cam for daily driving..if you want bigger go for the 228r..I've heard nothing but great thing about that cam
