Sorry but another cam question
What cam would the experts be running ?
The cam the engine comes with is 235/235
So come on cam guys who wants the honours and my money
That's a very conservative cam for a 454, which will be fine for good street manors. I'd take the duration up at least 10* on the intake side and 15*-20*, if your current cam is a 235/235. Now if it's 236/246 then at least 10* on the intake side and 10* on the exhaust side. I'd still call up some of the sponsors and see what they recommend for your needs/wants.

There are not many people who run ITBs. I know Pat owns one--my previous Harrop. The fact that he is into ITBs makes me value his input even more. He is very professional as well.

So something like a 246/256 and a tad more lift
