Default Building a roots blown ls

Hey guys, new to LS engines so be gentle :-)
I'm currently in the process of building a car for burnout comps here in Australia.
Plan is 6/71 or 8/71 running methanol, and I'm looking for around 800hp at the engine. My problem is I'm not really sure whether I should buy something like this: http://www.crateenginedepot.com/LSX3...50811C556.aspx
Then throw in a roots blower spec cam, bolt the blower on and go.
Or should I start with a complete L98, add a forged rotating assembly (callies etc) get the heads worked, blower cam, blower. I know it's a pretty broad question sorry.
Thanks heaps

Anyone at all used that crate lsx for forced induction? Would 800hp be asking too much of it?

With the LSX block and 6 bolt heads I cant imagine it not holding 800 HP. It should be good for more than that! It stated 15 lbs max on boost, I bet it will hold more than that. GM is going to cover their butts and go very conservative on max recommendations.
