Default Torque specs without degrees??,

Hey guys I'm starting to assemble my 408 this weekend, I've lost my torque specs for all the engine bolts. I had a chart that gave the specs in ft lbs without degrees. (I don't have a degree torque wrench) anybody have an idea where I can find that chart again?

I'm assuming since you have a 408, you have ARP hardware and not the factory bolts, because there is no torque value for the factory stuff.

There is a tool called a torque angle gauge that you use, but if you are using ARP fasteners then you will need to just go with torque specs. If you are using GM bolts, then there isn't a torque value to replace the torque angle measurements needed for TTY bolts.

With GM bolts, there will be an initial torque setting followed by an angle.

There is a book I use. "how to build and modify GM ls series engines" written by the guys at Texas Speed. It will have the specs and charts.
