Differences in Callies Magnum part numbers
I was looking for a Magnum crank in 4 inch stroke and stock journals, and there are at least two part numbers listed. Does anyone know the differences. Here's what's listed currently with 2.1 rod journals and 2.559 mains:
APO31T-MG
APO31V-MG
APO31T-MG
APO31V-MG

There is actually a 3rd one with the same specs AWO31T-MG.
From what I can tell the Part numbers are deciphered as such and we are going to use the part number above.
A= Engine Family
W= Don't know. could be reluctor? They only come W or P
O= Stroke
31= Size of pins whether 2.1 or 2.0
T= Don't know this either. it could be reluctor too. It only comes T or V
MG= Magnum

W = long snout for LS7 style dry sump.
There's not really a difference in V or T to the end user. It's an internal Callies thing related to balancing and you can't actually choose one or the other.

There's not an official part number difference for the reluctor. Sometimes it's tacked on the end of the part number as 24 or 58 by the reseller like we do, but generally it's just specified on their label.
T/V doesn't really mean anything to the end user.

That's good to know, KCS. It'd be a lot easier to balance off a 1850 bob weight instead of 1800. Right now I'm coming in at 1810, so I wouldn't need to add tungsten. The only place I see this advertised is on Callies' site, so is it best to just order from them, or can vendors order the heavier crank?
