Could I buy a 7.0 short block and bolt my oil pan, heads, etc from my LQ4 on it? What changes would need to be done? Got an LQ4 in my truck that is dying a little to soon on me.

LS7 shortblock, Yes, but you would need a spacer for the crankshaft (SDPC), and the lingenfelter box for 58x to 24x (depending what year your truck is), LS3 timing cover, valley cover, LS3 timing set, oil pump.
I think a 6.2 longblock would be a better route, can get an L92 truck intake.
