L92 Swap Just acquired a set of L92 heads. I have a 6.0 truck shortblock with an overbore, Mahle FT pistons, stock 317 heads cut .030" and a carbed intake. I want to install the L92's on this set-up. I know I need a new manifold and offset rockers. Past that what's needed?
I'm installing new springs and shaving these heads to bump the compression.
And of course we'll check the P/V clearance.
I know it's hard to make an assessment but I guess one more question is will these be a noticeable improvement over my 317's.
My cam is a 235/245@.050, .600"lift, 112LSA
And does anyone have a L92 carbed intake for sale?
