Default Ford Windstar electric fans??

Can anyone tell me how to correctly hook this up for an LS swap? I have a 2011 5.3 and I am having the harness re-worked right now to include wires for an electric fan. I have been looking around and it looks like I need some sort of relays or something?? I thought I could just put them on a toggle, is this not correct?

Thanks for any help!

The 5.3 harness didn't already have wires for an electric fan? Yes, I would run them off of relays so you don't have to worry about messing with a switch, unless you want to do it that way.

Electric fans can't be run with just a switch. They pull too many amps and will burn up the switch. You will have to use relays. Tell the person that's re-working the harness to make sure you have two fan wires.
