LS2 .... Where to start?
With a curb weight of 4700 pounds I understand there are going to be limitations to what is feasible and what is realistic on the budget. I plan to do the mods myself, and want to keep it naturally asperated. As reference it has a T56 and I am planning to swap from 3.73 to 4.56 rear.
Objectives are to improve 0-60 times while keeping it something that can be driven at low speeds as well as highway. Hopefully this is not too much to ask?
Thanks guys!
That's a lot.. 1st the car is heavy gear will help but power is better..... Ported heads = power you get more air coming in 2nd: Cam allows you to control when the air enters and the amount of air entering the cylinder 3rd Intake: this is what will limit the amount of air that the heads can receive 4th: Headers the left over exhaust has to go some where your making more power you don't want to let the exhaust be the reason you lose power with all the mods listed.
Port the heads $1000 to $1700, cam & springs to match engine size, car weight and gear $400-450+springs, intake $950 and headers depending on whose the maker Kooks,American header or Holley
It' possible to make well over 125hp from stock and still be a daily driver
