Adapters and retune
Lingenfelter makes a crank/cam adapter
Racetronix makes a few different adapters(knock relocation and type change, MAF, injectors)

Do yourself a favor, tap the LS3 block for the LS1 knock sensors rather than using the Racetronix adapters. Nothing wrong with the adapter itself, but the LS1 PCM does not play nice with the LS3 knock sensors.. ask me how I know!

Who needs knock sensors, those are optional lol. Turn them off they just take away timing anyway if you don't have a good timing table.

I prefer to keep my pistons in one piece. :-) I'll probably be going this route some time in the future. That or an LS7.

if you build a new knock table i dont see why one type would be better than another type?

It may not be cost effective, but it would be better to switch the reluctor ring to the 24x instead of using an adapter that does signal conversion. I dont trust those and there will be a degree of latency. Or get a new harness and computer to work with the 58x wheel, probably get a cheap truck one.

Can you change the reluctor ring very easy without taking out or swapping the crank ?

no the crank has to come out and there is a special tool used to install it in the correct position.
