power adders?? hi I have a 2008 Chevy 2500 pickup with a 6.0l gas motor and I was thinking about put a procharger on it and was wandering what I should do to the motor before I do anything

I would do h\c\I swap rather than s\c ...cost less to build it n\a and make as much power as s\c, all up to you though either way if your only gonna install the s\c kit youll need at least head gaskets lifters stiffer springs and seals... id go ahead and freshen up the bottom end and rings and throw in a boost friendly cam to boot depending on the mileage...maybe some injectors and a bigger f\pump oh and a stall
