Trying Build A 6.0/5.3 Are They Interchangeable? I have a 6.0 block with a fresh crank and mahle forged pistons, and complete 5.3 with ls6 cam, stock heads with comp cams 918 springs, ls7 lifters, and comp cam push rods. i am swapping one into my 04 colorado and want to run a little while N/A and then later boost it.
So my Questions are:
can i swap the 5.3 parts on the 6.0 block?
would it raise the compression?
Should i just drop the 5.3 in it as is and build the 6.0 for boost and swap it in when im done?
