cam/pushrod/head questions
So I got my stock ls2 wit ls3 heads. Question is are ls3 heads the same dimension wise as ls2s. I know the intake ports are square an the rockers are off set n all. But this is why I ask.
When I had stock cam with the stock block and ls3 heads I was using 7.4 pushrods. Now the base circle on a stock ls2 cam is 1.552 and the new cam the base circle is 1.052 So if the ls2 and ls3 in stock form use the same size push rod "7.4" then. could I take 1.552-1.052= 0.500 then thats 50 thousandths right??? so im thinking I would need a 7.450 pushrod correct????

I can't speak for the LS2, but my stock deck/stock headed LS3 DID use 7.450 pushrods when I swapped cams/springs.
I'm doing CNC LS3 heads (milled .020, 67cc), so I have to run shorter 7.4's now...my TSP 7.450 hardened pushrods are for sale if you want them...$80/shipped...also a set of fresh PRC .675 EHT duals springs...
