vvt-dod l92 to ls3 conversion using ls2 parts....?

vvt-dod l92 to ls3 conversion using ls2 parts....? hi everyone, thanks for clicking.
i have a l92 with dod and vvt, i also have a ls2 that fell off a hoist and snapped the motor mount pedastils/ac bracket mount off the block.
my first question is
A) which of the ls2 (non-vvt) parts the same as an ls3?
lifters, timing cover, valley cover, lifter trays, timing set, oil pump, ..
B) aside from the ls2 cam and head diffrences (823 vs 821) could i turn this l92 into a ls3, identically?
c) how will the ls2 cam do in the ls3 conversion motor and most importantly, what year/style timing gear is necessary to make it work with a ls3 computer. ( i dont know what year my ls2 is)
does this pic of the timing cover hint at a year of the ls2?
