Default Tfs 235 70cc pushrod questions

I have Trick Flow 235 / 70cc heads on a LS2 402 high compression stroker and have a couple questions.

1) would 3/8 pushrods work in these heads and are they worth the extra cost?

2) Are pushrod guide plates required? I don't think they are but wanted to verify.

Thanks!

Default Interesting

Thanks guys, I saw that thread about the TFS 235 not accommodating 3/8 pushrods so I was hesitant at first. I got the 3/8's in and they fit fine from what I can tell. No getting near the walls in full rotation so I'm wondering if TFS changed their heads or something to clear them. Time will tell, I'll pull the covers at 500 miles or so and recheck. Thanks for the info!
