Default too long or too short? pushrods

Any ideas? Shouldn't the swipe pattern be centered? Prc 265 6 bolt heads on ls7.

With that set up the push rod sets the pre load. The swipe is set by the height of rocker on the stand.

So the pushrods have nothing to do with the pattern on the valve tip?

Not on a pedestal mount rocker. Stud mount on a old sbc yes.

Depend on the lift of the cam, valve job, valve length, stand height. You also need to look at where the rocker is at full lift.

Lots of little stuff.
