I have a 2002 trans am ws6. Car has 68000 mile and I wanting to get heads and cam. I already have slp lid and kooks 1 7/8 headers. I would like to be around 450 to the wheels. Wanted to know what the best set up is.

I upgraded to a stock LS6 intake ... kept my heads ... and installed a 233/239 TSP cam w/ dual valve springs. But I also had to get the normal extra parts that go with it - LS6 ported oil pump, LS2 timing chain, LS7 lifters. I LOVED the results. It felt like a whole new car just with those changes (obviously would have been better had I changed the heads) but I was still VERY satisfied with the results.

Budget is everything. 450 in an F-body is a little harder. More so if it's an A4. Check out the dyno section. There will be plenty of combos pulling 450. Most are in the 420-430 range though.
