TBSS oil , input needed
I have a 06 TBSS, for those that don't know. The LS2 TBSS has a issue with the pickup tube starving for oil due to the shallow pan. Especially during heavy acceleration .
Until I have time to do the proper repair and change the pickup tube, what oil viscosity would you guys recommend ?
Most other TBSS trucks on the forums seem to like 10w-30, a local gear head friend of mine is recommending I run 0w-40 .
Let me know what you guys thing and if your a TBSS owner with the stock pickup tube please share what you use.

Run a 1/2 quart more oil and try not to accelerate so hard until you get better pan. In some circle track race motors it's not uncommon to run an extra quart to help keep the pickup submerged but they also see sustained high rpm and G-loads.
If it's your daily driver I would stick to either 5-30 for cool/cold climate or 10-40 in warmer climates.
