Hey Guys,

I have a 02 SS stock with the LS1 engine. I've been hearing this ticking noise under the hood on the driver side of the engine. I hear it when it's idling and when I take off. Not sure what it could be. Not sure what it could be. Thanks for your help.

 

Wrong section (your engine is a gen III), but symptoms and diagnosis will be the same. There's a ton of things that can cause ticking sounds. Post up a video of the sound. One of the common causes is a simple exhaust leak, so check your manifolds first.
