Custom Cam Grind for a Road Course LS3 (and driver)

Manton will do anything you want as far as taper goes...or anything for that matter.
I have had issues with a 3/8 in some stock heads yes. With stock or aftermarket rockers esp in a higher ratio. Not with 11/32".
Everything is different when the engine is in motion. I am sure you have pulled out pushrods before and seen rub marks on the black oxide before during a cam swap or head swap etc.

Intake manifold bolts can and will rub them as well. Esp on the maggies and lysholms etc. They are longer than they need to be and they will def rub the pushrods and cause issues ESP if they are a larger dia.

I've never had an issue with a dual taper 3/8-5/16 but I have had issues with straight tube 3/8 push rods.
Also had an issue with a single taper 3/8-5/16 in a 243 head that had to have some clearance added.
