Custom cam going in soon few ?s So last week I ordered a cam motion custom cam and wanted to ask a few ? about it. I know it will work great but just wanted to get an idea of what to expect.
It's a 234/246 .612 / .595 116 LSA +4 adv and i have seen a few on lower lsa's like 111 lsa but not on a 116 and on ls1 engines.
LSx 427, TEA 245, fast 102, 14psi F1A
Do you know the .006 and .200 tappet lift durations?
What is the rpm range and drive ability?
At what rpm n/a is peak torque and hp?
And lastly what would you think idle rpm and vacuum should be?

1st Cam Motion does cams for specfic engine builds... gear/ trans/ car wt/FI.....etc. All factor in on a cams spec card.I KNOW 4 a fact they asked you what you had and what you were looking to see. The cam you have will peak @ right around where the FAST intake dies @. 6600- 6700 rpm your max could be less. Call'em back TUESDAY those guys are more than helpful. Will be a calm car but that is more HP than any street tire could ever handle 325-345mm tire included. Lots of TQ down low and very snappy of the line = you will have 2 do something with all that TQ or you will burn baby burn thru 1st gear.
