Default L92 combo help....

I am looking for cam and converter advice. I have a completely stock l92 and 4l80e in my car and looking to increase performance. It is a street driven car and will rarely see track days. I would, however like great street performance.
It has the stock converter, and I'm thinking of going with a circle D or Yank 3600, and I'm looking at the comp VVT cams: p/n 156-402-13 with an operating range of 1800-6900 rpm, 218/232-degrees of duration at .050, .563/.575-inch lift and a 114LSA.
I want to keep VVT.
Car is 3800lbs, has 27" tire diameter, 3.73 gears. Have 2.5" dual exhaust, x pipe, and will also switch to full length headers.
I want good get up and go, and to still be able to take the car on the occasional road trip.

Any thoughts or feedback on the cam/converter combo I am looking at? Any other suggestions?

The Yank SS3600 should serve you well. It should put you right in the meat of your torque curve. Also the lock up feature will help big time on road trips.

All true, as I got the same trans the 4l60 has a good 1st and 4th gear but the 4l80 trans will out live you with good parts. Call sales and run what you got buy them. I went with Coan single disc converter 4000-4200 but runs like a 3200-3600 stall.

Should I be looking at any of the cams from TSP?

What do you mean as... CANS... if you mean cam have 1 made just 4 your own combo..
