any issues with cooling ERL blocks???
just like the title says... wondering if there are ANY issues with cooling an ERL block in a STREET car?? ive heard they are half filled is that true?? im getting ready to bite the bullet and order a short block but my car is a street/strip car and will need to be able to keep cool on hot summer days if im ever caught in traffic...

You really have a better cooling system because of the way coolant is able to flow around the MID sleeve system... also having ductile iron for sleeves is way stronger than cast iron stock sleeves...if the temp were ever 2 get 2 high.

sounds good... i had read somewhere on here a while back that someone was claiming they came partially filled along with all the other mods done to them... but ill definitely take your words on it seeing as you have one.
also did prices of their short block go up any?? maybe im mistaken but i could have sworn they were cheaper a year or two ago..??

Maybe 4 a 2000hp+ turbo build... filled around 3/4 to half a block full of that stuff...
Everything goes up... cost of living + when you have a great product U don't have 2 cut prices in fear of lost profits.
