Default lifter opinions....

Hey guys im looking for opinions on what style of moral lifter I should use. I have read a million threads on them and I'm just more confused.
I have a new set of ls7's but I have heard there too noisy and if so it leads me to think that the valve train events are not wright..
Looking at the morals and Im trying to figure out which style would be best for my application.
I'm on a budget but I want longevity and I have strong desire to shift @ or close to 7000 rpm. with an a4.

There is the Drop in street. Concerned if a lifter tray breaks. Should I be?
Street w/ link bar
.750 roller type a bit expensive but more stable. Worth it?
.750 wlt limited travel. What are the pros and cons??

My setup is ..... Cam 235/250 620/596 115+5.
Springs 650 lift
Stock trunioned rockers
Stroke 4.100
Cid 418

Morels have some under 200 bucks available from Colorado speed and Thompson motorsports have some under 200 bucks too. I would recommend you what I got in my motor but they don't make them no more. I'm running slr btr lifters. They the quietest ones I have heard so far in person.

We have some great lifters that come with a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty for only $159 set. Let us know if we can help you in any way.

Last Oct. I had a set of Lunati Street link bars (same as Morel Street) under 10,000 miles on them with correct pre-load, spring pressure, etc. One failed and took out my engine just starting it in my doctor's parking lot. Witness marks show the roller pin had jammed in the lifter bore on the upstroke, trashed the cam, damaged the block, broke the cam sensor and another lifter, timing chain, 9 valves and 5 pistons. I called Lunati tech and he said he wouldn't run them to the 6,500 I said I had my fuel cut off at and I should use the high RPM set. My cam was a 228/232 .614/.600 and didn't have a radical ramp rate. I guess if you want to run that high I'd get their high RPM.

I sort of have a similar build as the op and I was told to go with Morel 5206s. I personally would rather be safe than sorry by getting more expensive lifters for the added insurance.

My build
LQ9 4.03 bore
4.125 stroke
232 cc AI 243s
15:1 compression
25x/26x .63x/.63x 114+x cam
