Default Which LS7 bearings?

Looking for main and rod bearings. TSP lists clevite MS2199 main bearing kit, but the clevite catalog lists MS2294 which are not as readily available as the former. I'm just guessing the rod bearings are the same across all LS engines (clevite CB663).

Katech also only lists the 2199 set.

No...in 2012 gm changed the lsa engines with forged cranks to coated bearings. The ls7 was changed in 2009 I believe.

I was under the impression they were all coated, but they changed to a lead-free part to comply with new European regulations.

Do LS7s have a specific part number for main and rod bearings?

MS2199H & CB663HN are the bearings I would/have used.

That's the set I ordered. But once I got them I noticed they said "ls1 ls2 ls3" while the ms2294 list as "ls7 ls9". Only thing I can think of is forged crank. Maybe since the H's are narrower either set would work. I dunno.
