Best intake I have a 02 trans am ls1 with a cam 232/239 .595/.605 111lsa ,ls6 intake , stock 241 heads, and basic boltons well I made 375 rwp! I'm planning on getting a fast intake but I don't know whether to get a 92 or a 102!!! Can somebody tell me the ups and downs on both of them? What all would I have to change to put either on on like fuel rails or grind stuff like most say with the 102

The fast 92 you can use the stock ones but the fast 102 you will need to up grade fuel rails. For me i keep the ls6 intake till i got to around the 500hp mark "at 490" before i went with the bigger intake system. I went with the fast 92 my self because the few hp you would get from the 102 over the 92 was not worth it it me. Also if you go with the 102 you cant us the strut tower brace on the 92 you can. if you have a ls2 you need to grind down a part on the water pump from what i remember.

IMO i think the ls6 can keep up to close to around the 500hp mark that's why i waited till then to get one. The 15 hp i would of gained till then was not worth the $1500 or so it would of cost me to get it. Now when i did get it with this set up i gained 32 hp and 28 lbs from it as the ls6 just couldn't keep up anymore lol.
