Default Carburated LSx cam specs

Bought a 68 Camaro (6.0L/LS3 heads) from dealer so I couldn't get any info from previous owner however I was able to track down cam specs after getting the serial number off of it.
hydraulic cam with intake lift .595 exhaust .605; Duration at 050 intake 232 exhaust 238, LSA 113.

From what I cam tell this is a more aggressive cam than any stock LS1-7 I can find in this forum, but this is all new to me and I am trying to learn as much as I can about this stuff. What do these numbers mean for the torque curve, peak HP, and if I swap intake out for fuel injected setup would this cam work well or are these custom cams designed for optimal performance with carbs?

Just call Pat G or Martin @ Tick. You can (have a cam) your way like burger king.

You have the duration and lobe center angle listed, but it is important to know the "advance" or intake centerline. Do you have that specification?

Also, which intake manifold and carburetor?

That cam would want to turn a lot of RPM to be happy in a stock displacement 6 liter with a single plane intake. The intake valve close on that cam would like 7500 Rpm and maybe a good dose of nitrous. But, it does not really have enough duration to be effective up there.

How is your car set up and what kind of RPM are you looking to turn?

As for your 2nd question, that cam would need a lot less RPM to work well with a plastic intake.

You don't necessarily have to swap to a fuel injected intake, but as Tigger said that camshaft doesn't really have the best valve events for a LS3 headed 6.0 with a single plane.

Are you intending to drag race the car or street/strip setup?
