Call him and confirm, but I would plan for 3 weeks or so. Maybe quicker... He's doing a set for me, but my lead time included sourcing a set of castings...

That time was pretty consistent across the multiple vendors I called 2 weeks ago.

I already have the heads, just need to drop off one day. I'll try to give him a call today or tomorrow

Talked to Chris today, going to do the stage 1 job on my LS3 heads, just got to pull them and drop them off...I'm stoked!

Trying to figure out intake options for this motor, any recommendations, stock LS3, ported LS3, Fast or sheet metal style like Holley, etc..?

Damn good idea having Chris Frank work on your heads! If I go with LS3 heads I'll be taking mine to him also.

Holley high ram would work out perfectly and Chris ports them too, if you would like further assistance HP wise.

Went with the Stage 2 set up for my LS3 heads, I pick them up tomorrow. Will post pic's when I get home with them tomorrow!

You will like what you get craftsmanship & hp wise, all from the factory. You can even have them flowed as I did. But, Place as much air & fuel with some good ignition and compression and let it Breathe. By the heads being of a larger port size vs a Cathedral port size let it breathe. Port velocity may not be as fast as the Cathedral but flow is well above it, so allow it 2 breathe. Cathedral rule in the lower lift range as they would say = Tq(also the *cathedral's taller port design is a lot Better@ port velocity & being a smaller port really helps). As I said earlier, I like what I've seen out of the Holley High ram intake this takes care of any airflow requirements. But just on basic #'s 700 HP is not out of the? Cam choice with, What redline point will be your next great question and what type of rocker/ valve train you want to go with. I love a good hydraulic roller but Needle Bearing lifters are not for me.

OP's car is a Datson 240Z.......will the Holley Intake fit?

Would the hood have to be 'modified'?

Went with a fast 102/102 combo as nothing else fits under the stock hood.
