Default Coolant temp difference between heads

Has anyone noticed one head heating up faster/slower than the other? I have a brand new GM CTS sensor in the driver head and an auto meter temp sensor in the passenger. The GM CTS is reading almost 30* higher until about 210* and then it levels off and matches the auto meter mechanical gauge. Both sensors appear to be working properly and no other issues are apparent ie. Hot exhaust touching sensor etc.

On my car the factory sensor is in the drivers side head and my aftermarket gauge reads off the passenger side head. When I am scanning the passenger side head reads 5 degrees higher than the drivers side head.

Could be the way the coolant runs through the engine that the driver's side warms up quicker then it all stabilizes.

Or you have leaner fueling on that side that heats up the engine faster.

I'm still pretty damn surprised In a 30* difference though.. Is this common? My fueling should be even across the board. I have dual wideband sensors (speed density tune Holley EFI) and the they read damn near identical most of the time.

That's your sensors reading differently in resistance allso

Do you have the back water ports plugged on the heads? It helps a lot to connect them to the front for circulation

ports are tied to a 4way system. AFR's are dead nuts per bank
