Default Need help!! Cam bearing pic

Need some advice with guys who have more experience than me. Have done a few cam swaps in ls engines before. Was doing one tonight on my g8. It wouldn't clear the condenser so I kind of left it out while I lifted the condenser to remove it and it put a very slight indentation in the front bearing. Do you guys think it is ok or should I change the front bearing?

That doesn't look bad at all. You might want to try a razor or deburr knife to chamfer it, but I wouldn't worry too much about it

Thanks yeah I had a guy come over tonight that builds a lot of these and he said the same as you. Saw a drag mark on the bearing in from it too that I hadn't noticed. Then he said that could only happen from a bur or wiped lobe on the cam. Sure enough the cam had a wiped lobe and was showing through to the casting I didn't even notice nor were there any symptoms. He said I caught it just in time
