main and rod bearings for racing on an LS3 Hello,
I am familiar with a type of main bearing called a calico bearing made for race engines, but I'm not sure if there is one for the LS3. If there isn't, do you have any recommendations as far as main/rod bearings for a road course application? Thanks.

Calico is a coating company. They'll coat bearings, not manufacture them.
ACL, King, Clevite, and Federal Mogul all manufacture good race series bearings for racing. There are a few differences between the brands so you may want to consult your engine builder/machinist for which brand they recommend.
