I found someone asking $800 for a complete (minus heads) LY6 (non-VVT) short block. The only issue on it is it dropped a valve and nicked the piston (walls are perfect still)
Next is my L76 6.0 shortblock. Piston #7 decided to grenade but the cylinder walls seem to be straight still..
Opinions? No clue on what I would ask for the L76.
800 is kinda pricey for the shortblock.
Yes I understand it's a LY6 but at the end of the day it's still a 6.0 like a LQ4/LQ9 which can be bought COMPLETE for 800 bucks or so from LKQ.
Now if the heads was still on the motor it would be worth it in my opinion......

But I need the 58x reluctor. LQ4/9 don't have that option if I read correctly.
Basically I need a new stock 6.0 for my GT. I'm fine with an iron block since the LY6 isn't much different compared to the L76 .
