More LS2 info... Parts are compatible...
With a LS2 block, LS6 heads, and Eagle stroker combo, you could have one hell of a motor setup for under $4k.
1. You say the heads/manifold from a current LSx motor will bolt onto the LS2, but will the heads/manifold bolt onto a LSx motor?
2. There has been some speculation that the new LS2 head has a raised intake runner and the new manifold will not match correctly to the old LS6/LS1 heads. Is there any truth to this?

The cam sensor is in the front cover, not sure if this can wire to old PCM but given time there must be a solution.
The crank sensor is in same position but the trigger wheel may be 60X instead of 24X.

Is the ETC throttle body on the C6 electrically compatable with current C5 TBs or new truck TBs?
Just got back from Dallas for the power tour kick off( had to fly in and change a lifter that broke in a customers engine).
The ETC on the LS2 has the TPS built inside. There is only one plug coming out the side. There may be a way to adapt in the future. The only one I have right now is down at Futral's shop for some dyno testing, I will check it out when it gets back.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
They are LS6 heads.

I'm waiting till I can get 500rwhp with a mild cam and stock cubes though. Shouldn't be too hard, seems AFR used their 205s with a 224 on a stock displacement setup and hit 470rwhp.
