Default 4.8l twin turbo experiment

Waiting on some things for my forged 5.3l to be complete had a gen 4 4.8l come up i bought it going to see how far i can push this after seeing john gillands and robert melcher push gen 3 4.8l engines into the 900rwhp range im using left over parts will a pitted cam hurt the bearings?

Get a new cam. I would not put that in any engine of mine....especially if I was looking to make power. Besides, you can spec it for the turbos .

Should be loads of fun. What are you going to put the 4.8L in after you install the forged 327?

4.8l is going in firstbif it blow ill drop the 5.3l in if it lives a couple years the 5.3l will probably find a home in my 64 chevy II nova with bw s366s an drop the 388 gen 1 sbc an go from 10's to 8's
