Default K1 rods and cranks

Hey all!,
I will soon begin buying parts for my 408 build and have seen many posts back from the years 2007,2008, and 2009 that have people using the K1 crank and rods. Since its been about 8 years later, im curious to see how long the K1 stuff held up, is it still going and how much whp/torque were you putting down??
Thanks!
Kevin

I have a K1 crank that I put in my 408 back in 2009.

Still running strong even through a broken rocker/dropped valve and partial rebuild, and later a full strip down and rebuild after a broken ring.

Making ~480RWHP/500RWTQ

From what I've seen, the K1 cranks are pretty much the best "budget" cranks. While the Compstar are the best "budget" rods.

Thanks for all of your replies!! I do appreciate it, great to see they do have some longevity about them. I was curious because i have heard some people running 1500whp on K1 rods and crank but never heard how long they held up or anything besides a one time 1500 whp dyno pull lol
