Default voltage problems after cam

hello I recently added a cam to my car and now after installing it my voltage drops during acceleration as soon as it hits 2500. I think I have a clue on what it is. my guess is the alternator I checked all grounds and they are ok.

and if its the alternator will a Kg3 alternator work on my car?

I been reading other posts about this and mostly I am confused on the part where I have to change the 2 pin connector to a 4 pin?? does anyone have a pics of how it looks after replacing the single wire connector with the 4 wire connector

thank you

I would drive the car up to a alternator and starter rebuild shop and have then diagnose your car must of the times they don't charge to tell you what it is, is a 30 second job for them.
