Default Need Help With LS2 Front Cover Conversion

Trying to do the LS2 front cover conversion on a '10 LY6. The block has a 24x crank (long story on that) and a N-Motion double roller timing set with a 1x reluctor cam gear. The problem is that the front cover is hitting the chain at about 3 o'clock on the cam gear. I put some grease on the chain and know exactly where it is touching. I think I can fix it by clearancing the cover, although that might cut into the threaded hole for the cam sensor bolt but I think that can be sealed.

Looking to see if anyone else has had this problem or heard of anyone who did. Feedback welcomed. I know the easy answer is to use a single roller, but I am looking to squeeze as much HP as I can without going over the edge.

Grind slowly and check recheck. If you break into the bolt hole, you can seal it up with thread sealer on the bolt.

That's the plan.
