Default Is It Worth It??

Got a line on a motor. It's an LSX block with TFS 245 heads. The wierd thing is it's only a 377 or something like that. Factory LS1 crank with a 4.070 bore running forged rods and pistons. It's also got Jesel shaft mounted rockers. I thought that bore was a bit small for those heads, but it could work. TFS says them heads need a 4,125 bore. It was built for boost. I'd run nitrous through it myself.

ANYHOOOOOO...

What do ya'll think it's worth? He's asking $7,500...

Also got a line on an LS3 block with a stock stroke and Diamong forged 4.125 piston making it a high revving 388. It's $4k and I'd throw some Mamo 235's on it, then spray it with a 300 shot.

Oh, one of them is going in a jet drag boat. NEVER see's mid range RPM when wide open. Snaps to 6,500 and just goes up from there.

LS3 block must be Resleeved to fit 4.125 pistons.
LSX block with 4.070 bore seems underachieving LOL!
I am partial to big bores & long rods myself.
LSX BLOCK Stronger for Big N20 unless the LS3 Block
Resleeved by RED or ERL.
Between the two I would choose the LS3 if it is Sleeved
By RED or ERL and choose my own supporting cast.
I would want a significant discount on the LSX Engine
Because I would still need to Bore and change/sell to
Many components. ~$6000 just my .02
