5.3 afm lifter help !!!!!!

I've replaced the lifter tray in my 07 Tahoe twice and it keeps breaking where the key slot is at there is no cam wear shown

Is it the same one and the same place? Is it at a AFM lifter? I have to wonder if you are installing the AFM lifters right in the tray. My old AFM lifters are still in their trays laying around near the work bench. Not easy to just pull out the lifters either.
