oil pan Alright , I have 98 TA, with a 2001 C5 vette engine. I just found out I have a leak in the oil pan gasket, I have a New gasket now the question is, how do I remove the oil pan? I pray and dread that I don't have to hoist the engine up or something so extreme for something simple. Help me out guys, I don't have much $ at all, so cheapest and quickest way. Thanks

Hi, I also need to remove the oil pan. I need to know how much clearance I need between the oil pan and subframe to remove the pan? I looked at the engine and saw that by lowering the steering rack it might be possible to remove the oil pan if there is enough clearance between the pan and subframe. I am also going to drop the transmission because the rear main oil seal is leaking. Thanks
