vapor while the car was running i pulled the oil filler cap off and see a very light vapor coming out. it was not puffing out. is this normal while the cars hot?

Well I might have answered my own question. The pcv draws the vapors from the same valve cover as the oil filler cap is on. So by me opening the oil cap it's just letting the vapors go through there instead of the pcv. Please correct if I'm wrong.
