Default LS2 to LS1 swap question

I have an LS1 long block from a 2002 Camaro SS which is being installed in my 09 Trailblazer SS. This is a temporary thing until I have the Ls2 worked and drop it back in.
Having some compatibility issues with the Timing gear. I need to use the LS2 gear since it has the sensor bosses on the face. Problem is that gear has different mounting holes and sits at a different depth on the crank shaft and a center through hole mount vs. the gear on the LS1 which has 3 mounting holes. Does anyone know if I can buy a conversion gear that mounts and sits in the correct position in the 5.7 LS1 but has the sensor bosses for the LS2 6.0?
