Which GM head gaskets for 403"
Which GM head gaskets for 403" I have a set of GM Ls2 4.0" bore head gaskets I'd like to use with my 403ci (4.005") I'm putting together. Would these be ideal with a set of 243 heads, or would the Ls3 gaskets be best?
Those would work great as the diameter is 4.020". Easily clearing your bore size
There is a Tony Mamo explanation which uses larger than bore size gaskets to unshroud combustion chamber shapes that let larger valves breath. So I'd imagine that based on his belief, your cylinder head/valve choice could play an important roll in the diameter of head gasket you select
